Hello, me again.
After messing around with my 300i and being busy reencoding gigabytes of media in the last weeks I wonder if there is (or will be) any kind of FF (fast forward) or other fast advancing/navigating in any streamed media?
Perhaps a goto-function? It's really annoying watch 30 or more minute video again when I want to continue watching a previously aborted video movie.
I find those functions quite essential - am I missing something?

I don't know the SL300 as i luckily have a SL400i.
On the SL400i i can fast forward in a video at 2 different speeds.
Pressing the >> Button on the remote for 2 seconds switches to 4x speed. Pressing it another 2 seconds it switches to 32x.
But i experienced a problem with this function.
It only works for me at the beginning of a MPEG2-file, let's say withing the first 30 minutes. After that point, it just pretends to move forward, but when i then press PLAY again, it continues from the spot i started to FF.

Internally, the 300 is basically exactly the same as the 400.
As mentioned, you can FF/RW by holding the Next/Prev buttons, respectively.

What about a goto feature? I purchased the Streamium to replace my Prismiq because of crappy software and unresolved bugs. The Streamium is working fine as a replacement except for two very important things the PrismIQ does when it works: 1) Windows Media, and 2) a GOTO function. The GOTO function is critical to me since I regularly watch 2-hour videos on it and it's a real pain to have to speed forward, even at 32x, to where I left off.
Any plans for a GOTO feature??
Thanks

...additionally - how about a button to skip forward or back a preset amount of time, say 30 or 60 seconds?
I like the Streamium, but I may have to go back to the faulty PrismIQ because at least it has good playback controls...

We are looking at improving the FF/RW in a future update.
