Oh oh....
Have you updated the center firmware to the latest on the Philips website?
The original firmware that came with the product had a bug in the CD drive that will not eject the disc if it didn't like it. One way out is the following:
1. Hold down the Power button for about 5 seconds to force the center into ECO-STANDBY mode. If you were ripping audio CD at the time when you tried to eject the disc, the center may warn you that it is still busy encoding tracks. Wait for it to complete
2. Get a thin blunt object (flat screwdriver will do), and gently push into the CD slot until it doesn't move
3. Press POWER again
4. Let the center boot up until you see the root screen.
5. Press EJECT (don't change source to CD)
Hopefully the disc will pop out.

I got the CD out. I slid a flat object along the slot and I heard a click and the CD ejected. I then (reluctantly) inserted antother CD in and the ejected fine. I rolled the firmware back to 1.1.10 and have since recorded 7 additional CDs to the HD with no Issues. Maybe after awhile I will try the 1.1.15 firmware but for now I'm going to stay away from it.

Also with firmware V1.1.17 I have had a problem of a not ejected cd.

Possible solution (you will do this on your own risk!):

1. Press another cd slightly into the cd slot.
You will fell a resistance. Press slightly untill you break the resistance.
2. Remove the cd
3. Press the EJECT button
4. Hopefully the cd will be ejected!

It works fine for me. Hope it works also for YOU!!

I got the same problem. I successfully eject the cd using the method but it screw my WAC... Now it doesn't want to load CD anymore and do a wrong sound then i press eject.
Where can i find the 1.10 firmware even if i know that i'm going to send it back for maintenance ?

Had the same problem and this helped to solve the problem. Although I have a new problem, the centre is saying that the station is not registered. When I try to search for the stations on the centre they don't detect them? Any suggestions???

Is the station in installation mode?

Select AUX at the station, press menu and select installation mode. Then search again from center.

According to the manuel, you have to place the station next to the Center during configuration, once recognized, you can place your station everywhere within the range of the Center.
Hope this helps.

I had to excange mine as it was broken, the cd mechanism just stopped. Philips will tell you to download the firmware, but from reading a few posts this does not seem to help.
