rc8900i network light

my rc9800i is connected ok to my wireless network. the instructions say that the network activity indicator lights up blue when communicating in a wireless network, my does not.any ideas why. many thanks

This is changed in the latest firmware. It now only lits up when a UPnP command is sent over the network
