Hi all !
This is rather annoying :
I have my RC9800i (FW 080) set up in my WiFi network. I can ping the RC9800i from my PC without any problem.
The RC9800i can see my WAC700 and my WAS700.
It can also see TVersity Server on my PC, although it is not compatible with picture browsing (TVersity problem IMO).
The strange thing is that if I start PMM, the RC9800i never, ever finds it ! My WAS700 finds it rock-solid all the time. It doesn't matter if I have TVersity running at the same time or not, the RC9800i finds the Tversity (if it is running) but no PMM, if I don't start TVersity (just having PMM running) PMM is not found either. The WAS700 always finds whatever PMM/TVeristy server is running though.
So, why isn't RC9800i compatible with Philips' own PMM ? Beats me...
BTW: This is with FW 080, my RC9800i was delivered with an older FW (I think it was 078) and with that FW it found the PMM all the time.
TIA,
/Mathias
