Hello Philips RC9800 technical support,
I have some questions:
1)
I cannot learn the infrared codes from the Pace DS810 HD satellite
tuner with the RC9800. The codes are in ‘xmp’; this is a standard
infrared carrier on 46 – 48 kHz. XMP is UEI’s proprietary protocol.
The RC9800 reports that all received codes are 'okay', but
when you want to use them, nothing works...
This is a big problem.
Can you guys help me out?
2)
Unfortunately there isn't yet a Win XP or Mac OS-X editor for the RC9800.
Is Philips gonna make one and if yes; when?
3)
There are no codes for Sony TV, Video, DVD or CD players.
When will Philips update the RC9800 firmware with Sony?
4)
It's not possible to delete or rename buttons that you don't want to use;
like you can do in a normal Philips pronto.
Will Philips update this in new firmware and if yes; when?
5)
When will the RC9800 be compatible with the music, movies
and picture libraries in the user part of Mac OS-X?
And when will the RC9800 will be compatible with Apple iTunes
on Mac and Windows Media Player on Win XP?
Thanks for you info,
kinds regards,
