Transfering files from pc to centre

Hi, Can anyone tell me why when I transfer Ripped CD's & downloaded CD's from my pc to the centre the tracks appear in alphabetical order & not nummerical order on the centre. If I burn a CD on the pc & then rip to the centre from this it's fine. I have to edit the track number on the centre everytime I load some music, this is very time consuming & tedious. I've tried uninstalling & reinstalling the software but it's still the same. /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

We're having similar problems. Some albums retain the track number order, some appear alphabetically. I always use Audiograbber to rip CDs to my PC and have never had a problem with track no order. I can't see any pattern to this. Any thoughts anyone?

There is a logic pattern here :
When you select an Album, the tracks are presented in the Track Number order within that specific album, otherwise the tracks are presented in alphabetical order.

Hi Tias, its not always logical - and I like logical! Even though all my albums have a track number in the track information, some of them display alpha on the WACS, some track number. I don't understand why.

When creating playlists, if I highlight all tracks on an album, in track number order, then add to playlist, they appear in the playlist in alpha order, so frustrating, but if that is the way it works so be it.

I will have a go with WACHandler. many thanks for your help.

What you describe follows the same logic :
The tracks are displayed in Track Number order if you navigate into an Album, if you look at the tracks in any other (!) navigation container (All Tracks, Artists, PlayLists) you'll get them in Alphabetical order.
