I also want to be able to connect the was7000 to my hifisystem and listen to the music on my pc over the floorstanding loudspeakers.
Can i connect it to the main amplifier and how is this done?

The was7000 does not have audio line out jacks. The easiest way is to get a 3.5mm audio jack to RCA line out cable. You can then connect the cable to the headphone jack on the station and the RCA to your amplifier AUX input.
To calibrate the volume level, switch your amplifier to CD, and play your favorite CD at a nice volume. Switch source to AUX, play a similar track on your station, then adjust the station volume until the audio from your amplifier sounds equally loud as your CD player.
