Hi all,
I've been using Tversity for sometime now and have no problems with it whatsoever. It streams and encodes direct to my XBOX 360 and PSP like a dream.
I've just purchased a WAS7500 to add to the collection but have encountered a big problem - it doesn't detect the UPnP server running on the PC (TVersity).
Has anyone else encountered a similar issue?

Hi there,
I also have TVersity on my PC and WAS7500 and it works perfectly. As usual with those issues I would recommend to check if you have a firewall running on your PC. If yes, turn it off and see if it still does not show on the WAS7500.

Great - thanks! Firewall now configured with the correct port for Tversity and all connections are now working. However ...
I can browse through the library without error and start playing a song, but when the song starts the tag information for album and artist are missing - even though they are in the file correctly.
Anybody got any ideas?

Right it doesn't work... usually Tias could explain better why since he is a heavy user of TVersity /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif... anyway there are threads around here somewhere explaning the issue, but I can not recall right now where /ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Thanks Franky - just tried using WMP as the UPnP server instead of Tversity and exactly the same thing happens!
I've tried all combinations of ID3v1 and V2!!

This is a know problem and has to be addressed with a Firmware update in the WACS units. I think this is finally corrected in the new WAS6050.
There is currently no work around for it either, at least none that I'm aware of ;-/

But I don't have a WACS7500 - only a WAS7500! Looking at the firmware available - the WAS7500 update download zip actually contains the firmware for the WACS7500! Any thoughts?
Is there anywhere where I could download v1.23 for the WAS7500 alone?

Yes, I saw your post about that earlier.
This actually happened a long time ago, I don't remember if it was with the WACS7000 or WACS7500 units though.
Philips made the WACS7x00 FW available for the WAS as well (for a short time), but these are supposed to be two different files, so I assume you just have to wait a few days and see if they fix it.
Anyway, FW 1.23 does not address the UPnP "No Artist"/"No Album" issue anyway... :-(
