drm-protected

when i try to transfer tracks wirelessly to mci500h from pc i get the following message"can not open this drm-protected track".
it is in wma format and not mp3.this is despite the fact that the source cd is my own private paid for cd.
can anyone help out there?

How did you rip your CD ?
When you rip it yourself it shouldn't become DRM'ed.
Why don't you rip it directly in your MCi500H ?

What software did you use on your PC to rip the orginal CD ?

In WMP the default setting for wma ripping has included the "Copy protect music" checkbox selected so uncheck this and re-rip the disc and it should be fine.

Or change the format to mp3.
