Hello,
i have a question regarding the new FW-Software 1.11.
I have updated the MCI300/12 and the system-information shows that now the Version 1.11.0340 is running.

> 4. In Internet radio mode, the display will no longer show the (irrelevant) play time.

Unfortunately i have these play time (timeline) in Internet radio mode within the display further on. Did i have made something wrong withinthe update or what could be the issue?

Another question i have: unfortunately it seems that there is no hope that MCI300/12 can show title-informations within the display. Is these a issue of the inbuild cpu and this can`t be solved in a further Firmware-update?

When i go to the electronic-markets and look to the presented Philips NP2500/12 Wireless-System it shows the Internet radio title information in a very good shape. (NP1100/12> also no title information).

Thank you for Support!
Cheers, Steve69

Unfortunately i have these play time (timeline) in Internet radio mode within the display further on.In the new update, you should see the actual time instead of the irrelevant track-length to the right. The display should then look like this (for example) :
0:10 11:12Where "0:10" is the play time = the amount of time this station has currently been played and "11:12" the current time right now.

In earlier Firmware's it could look something like this :
0:10 2481:45So are you sure you are just not messing up the time (clock) field to the right in ts latest FW with the completely unuseful track-length in the earlier Firmwares ?

Cheers !

Thank you Tias/Mathias for the explanation.

The display shows only one time. When i start a internet radio station it always starts at 0:00. When i have listened 5 minutes to a station it shows 5:00. When i switch to another station it starts also at 0:00. Thanks again, i have had it first understand wrong what is meant with new timeline.

btw. do you know any information about showing internet radio "title-information". Could that be possible also with MCI300 in a future update?

Hi again Steve !

Sorry, I think I messed up the times being showed on the NP2x00 units. I'm at the office now so I couldn't double-check how it looks like on my MCi500H (which I assume looks the same way as a MCi300) at home. :D

About the "playing track info" in the Internet Radio, I have no clue.
I assume that technically it should possible, but if Philips will invest time/resources to implement it is nothing I can answer :p

Cheers !

Hello again,
one more comment: i would expect that Philips invest once more again time/resources to their nice product and the customers which have bought a MCI300. The reason is - in my opinion- just simple:

You can buy a MCI300 actually for around 300EUR (Germany).
You can buy a NP2500 actually for around 165EUR.

The internet radio "playing track info" is available with NP2500 but NOT with the MCI300! Maybe it is only a marketing strategy that these "playing track info" within the display isn`t activated until now at MCI300. Maybe some Philips developers are reading within these nice forum ;) .....anyway,- i like to have these missing display function....:)

Anyone outside which also likes to have these feature?
